Staff on arrival were great, very friendly and personable. Made some great recommendations for what to do during my stay. Good location, 20 minutes walk to La Ramblas, lot's of nice coffee shops, super markets and bars in the surrounding area.

I had a pleasant stay overall. One of the front desk staff, a gentleman wearing glasses, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which left a great impression on me. Check in and check out was relatively easy. The room was generally clean, and the housekeeping service did an excellent job tidying up every day. The breakfast offered was quite varied and satisfying. As for the location, I can't say much since we mainly used Uber for transportation.

The hotel is great but the highlight for me was the staff. They were very professional and kind. I came a little earlier that the hotel usual check-in time, they managed to speed up the process and have a room ready for me earlier without even me asking, and they even offered me a glass of cava while I was waiting. Again, I did not even ask if I could have the room earlier. I also paid for 24h of parking, but they let me leave the car free of charge a few extra hours, and I was very grateful. Other then that, the hotel is located on the Parallel street, one of the famous Barcelona main boulevards, walking distance form great city attractions.

The hotel is not at the very center of the city as those near Placa de Catalunya, nor particularly close to the medieval city, but it is in a quiet neighborhood at the foot of Montjuiv where one finds outstanding museums including the incredible Museum of Catalan Art (Don't be put off by the name, it includes French and Dutch art that eventually found its way to Catalunya) and the Miro museum. The hotel is very modern, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Great location. Very comfortable room with good views. Convenient and safe parking in the underground garage. Delightful and efficient reception staff who gave us excellent advice on how to spend the only afternoon we had in Barcelona and also for where to eat in the evening. The room was quiet and the A/C efficient. We left at 6 a.m. to catch a ferry at the port. BTW, It is almost worth rising early to see the early morning street life…..perfectly safe and very entertaining. 😉

Location, very good, close to Metro & Bus Stop, Hola Card is a bonus to purchase and use in this location. Breakfast, one of the best and no hassle getting what you want.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The reception staff were first class. Lovely young man on reception found plugs for me and helped with all of my enquiries. Always welcomed with a smile and greeting at reception. The lady that served breakfast was lovely, patiently explaining everything to my daughter. The room was spotlessly clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

I was in this hotel for a week. Shout out to stuff, for excellent service! Everything was nice, clean room, good wifi. In the nights it was very quiet. Good location, less then hour with a walking to Barcelonette Beach. Also, metro and a bus station is next to the hotel. I enjoy every night here, will recommend this hotel to my friends! P.M. for a tourists, dont go to the supermerkat shops, its very expensive :D. Better go for a 10min walk to Arenas for Mercadona, its a local grocery shop with normal prices. And also right next to a hotel you will have good restaurants.

Hotel Lugano has proved to be a very good surprise, owing to the ample room and bathroom, comfortable bed and cleanness. Despite facing the street, almost no noise could be heard in the room (good sound insulation). Large wardrobe and safe are a plus. There are three lifts (one of which exclusive for hotel staff) that cope comfortably during the pick times. The hotel is located close to Plaza Espanya at very short distance from the Metro (green line) and a walking distance to Plaza Catalunya (around 1.8 km). It’s a quiet place without the noise of Las Ramblas and yet easily accessible by metro and bus. Coming from the airport, it’s the Airbus first stop (Plaza Espanya), followed by a 100 m walk down the Paral-lel avenue.
